Chapter 10: Silence The Alarms

The next day, Eliza woke up extra late today so she didn't miss out on any other missions, like she did last night. She was pretty disappointed that she couldn't come along yesterday to do the mission, but she was very tired picking up very heavy boxes and barrels and then throwing them at security systems. Or defeating rat guards by throwing them into the waterpump and then to go off and break into Dimitri's office just 2 minutes later? No. She couldn't do too much in just one day, she needed a break.

She got out of bed and started towards the labtop and getting ready to sell the painting she didn't sell yesterday. She took a snapshot of it and scanned it onto the scanner as the picture popped up on the screen. She placed a price on it as it was sold and was given 1,300 coins for it. 'Heah, i got alot more than i imagined.' She thought as she got ready to turn it off again. 'But i wonder what his mission was yesterday? I remember in the game...OH! I am sooooo glad i did not bump into Neyla yesterday. He was meeting up with that she-devil yesterday!' She angryly thought as she walked into the closet to put on her disguise again.

But as it turned out, she was going to wear instead a green long sleeved t-shirt (kinda like Sly's) and a pair of ripped jeans. "Hmmm, breezy!" She said as the air was blowing through the holes on her ripped jeans. She grabbed her cane and shoes as she opened the door to go out it. She sat down on the couch as she tied her shoes on and waited for someone to come out and tell her about the next mission. As expected, Murray came out of his room and greeted Eliza as he sat down next to her.

"Any missions for us today?" Said Eliza as she adjusted her hair into a ponytail.

"Yeah, we got a mission, so let's get going littlest buddy."

Eliza frowned as she thought about how being little wasn't always so great. People think that the little kids aren't always grown-up yet, but they just can't see it. But as the thought was sinking away, Eliza and Murray headed out the door.

As Eliza and Murray headed down the stairs of the safehouse, from another direction, Eliza ran into a frog guard! He started to scream through his megaphone as Murray gave him a punch to his face. Eliza came up on his from behind and gave him a whack with her cane. He was on the ground knocked out and Eliza whacked him into the air as he fell to the ground as she slammed him into the ground.

"Wow. I didn't know i had it in me."

Eliza smirked as she and Murray headed off to the waypoint for the mission. They ran againist the streets of Paris, to make it easier to get there. As they ran so fast againist the streets, more guards heard them, but as they ran even faster, Eliza and Murray sped across the streets, out-running the guards who ran after them. They reached the waypoint in a matter of seconds as Bentley's voice came onto the bicnocucom.

"Alright you two, i need you to destory the alarm systems so that nothing will disrupt us during the heist."

"Check."Said Murray

"Alright Bentley, i think we know what to do, you thinkin' what i'm thinkin' Murray?" Said Eliza.

"What?" Said Murray.

"Time for breaking stuff!" Said Eliza.

Bentley rolled his eyes as the conversation came to an end. As Murray picked up a stack of newspapers, Eliza was getting in position for taking out the guards. "Let it rip Murray." He shook his head as he threw the stack of newspapers againist the system and it started to break. The alarms were going off and a rat guard came out and Eliza landed on the ground. She raced in towards the guard and smacked him up into the air as he got right in front of her. She slammed him hard into the ground as Murray threw yet another stack of newspapers at the system, cracking it alittle more.

Another rat guard came out as Eliza finished the first one off. She jumped right in between Murray and the rat guard as she jumped into the guard and gave him a punch in the gut. As he tried to get up, she used her hands to flip him over and into the water. Murray picked up a table and threw it againist the system, the impact made it break into pieces as the last guard came out. Eliza threw a a smoke bomb at him to make her looked like she disappeared as she got right behind him and smacked him up into the air and finshed him by slamming him into the cold and hard ground.

As the two finished off the first alarm, they started in the direction of the second one. Eliza did a double jump, while jumping over the boats and landing on safe ground again. Murray jumped over onto the boat and then jumped onto the land again. They ran right through the courtyard, with not a guard in sight as they passed by. They jumped onto the car as they were trying to get over the fence. Murray had to let Eliza on his shoudlers to get her over the metal fence and then get up there himself, jump over to the other side and then catch Eliza as she jumped to the ground.

They reached the second alarm system and as Eliza got into position, Murray went to grab a stack of newspapers. He threw it againist the system, and active the thing so it was beeping so loud that even Sly and Bentley could hear it back at the safehouse! A frog guard came this time and Eliza jumped into action! She suckerpunched the frog into the water and watched as he drowned. Murray threw a suitcase full of money againist the system, making Eliza go "Hey! There was money in there!!!" as she screamed, a rat guard came.

She brought her cane in front of her as she picked the guard up by his shirt and threw him into the air. As he was about to come down, she slammed into the ground. Murray threw one more suitcase full of money at the system, making it explode on impact as the last frog guard was coming thier way. As some support, Murray turned her way and gave a punch at the frog in his face. Eliza picked the guard up with her hand and gave him a final punch in his gut as she threw him into the water.

The two ran into the direction of the last alarm system. As the two of them ran down the streets of Paris, flashlights guard heard them, but didn't spot them until they were already gone. As they reached the area near the 'Le Stinky Tourist Hotel' just close to the alarm system, Eliza started to get tired. "Is this the last one Murray?" "Yeah..." "Oh, ok." Eliza got on top of the 'Le Stinky Tourist Hotel' building and was getting into position as Murray grabbed a stack of newspapers and threw them againist the alarm system, but since no guards were coming yet, Murray threw another stack of newspapers. And the guards were on thier way. Eliza swooped down from the building and jumped in thier way.

She grabbed a stone from off the ground and bashed it againist the guard's face, he fell backwards in a knocked out  way. She tossed him into the water before he could wake up. Murray threw the last stack of newspapers againist the system and the whole system broke apart. "Great job you two, so come on, and back to the safehouse..." Said Bentley over the bicnocucom. But as they started off back to the safehouse, more guards were coming thier way!

They both jumped onto the boncy thing, soaring high into the air, only yards away from the safehouse. They ran across the rooftop and jumped down onto the ground. Climbing up the stairs and walking into the safehouse, Eliza started to paint really heavy. Sly took Eliza and strolled her off to bed, so that she was good for tomorrow's mission.

Eliza watched and waited as Sly left her in the guest room so she could be alone. She quickly changed out of her long green sleeved t-shirt and ripped jeans as she put on a quilt-like sleep tanktop and some pajama pants. She crawled right into the bed as she tried to go to sleep, only thinking about tomorrow's mission and what would lie ahead of her?
